akrasia

The struggle between intention and impulse, acting against one’s better judgment. It’s the fight between desire and discipline. Contradictions merge and blur the line between a transformation and an unraveling. Sharp edges and soft shadows, purity and depravity, feathers and thorns. To resist or to surrender? To control or to be consumed? This issue lingers in that in-between space, where instinct battles restraint and reason falters. To be human is to waver, to want, to give in.
